Join Our Team – Available Positions:

Dental Hygienist

A dental hygienist at Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry is a position requiring an active hygiene license for the state of Virginia and strong verbal and written communication skills. The individual must be willing and able to:

  • deliver direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist 
  • remove calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line
  • educate patients in oral hygiene instruction
  • take x-rays and save into patient charts, when necessary
  • provide general support to the office
  • show compassion and care for our patients

Dental Assistant

Our dental assistants will serve as the right hand of the dentist by supporting and performing routine tasks and carrying out the dental duties effectively and efficiently. The individual must also possess the skills necessary to:

  • assist all doctors and staff in all aspects of general dental care
  • make patients comfortable and
  • perform any related administrative and clerical work
  • must be x-ray certified
