Krissy, our practice administrator, has over 20 years of dental experience. Krissy originally began her career as a chairside assistant in Arlington, VA. She brings to our practice a vast knowledge of all aspects of dentistry from treatment sequence to insurance benefits. She has been with Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry since 2007 and is a vital part of our continued growth.
Krissy resides in Gainesville, Virginia with her husband, two boys, and puppies, Lucy and Roxy.
Andrew is a vital member of our team. He is the liaison between the patient care coordinators and the clinical staff. He is there to assist in all areas of patient care and thoroughly enjoys his time with the patients whether he is greeting them in the front office or assisting in their clinical care.
Andrew is currently taking classes at the Northern Virginia Community College. He has a passion for cars and enjoys his time off when he is not working or taking classes.
Sarah is one of the most multi-faceted members of our team. Most days she may be the first voice you hear greeting you on the phone and taking care of your scheduling needs or smiling at you when you first enter the office. Other days she may be an asset to our clinical team helping to assist a doctor or another member of the clinical staff. It is no doubt that she plays an important role in helping to streamline our patient’s positive experience at each visit.
Sarah relocated to the area from Williamsburg, Virginia and currently resides in Arlington. When she is not in the office, she is busy planning her wedding!
Melissa, our dental hygienist, joined our team in 2015. Melissa is a native Virginian, having been raised in Fairfax and Haymarket. Melissa graduated from the Northern Virginia Community College with an Associates of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. Prior to attending hygiene school, Melissa was a dental assistant for 2 years.
Melissa’s main objective is not only to make sure her patients are comfortable but also to educate patients on their dental needs. Each of her patients leave the practice with an individualized regimen important for maintaining excellent oral health.
Outside the office, Melissa loves spending time with her 5 year old daughter. Having grown in the DC Metropolitan area, Melissa can not help but be a huge fan of the Redskins. When she leaves the area, however she loves vacationing at the beach and visiting family in Montana.
Welcome, Sarah! The newest member of the hygiene team at Fair Lakes Family and Cosmetic Dentistry in Fairfax, Virginia. Sarah has been in the dental field for over 7 years. Her warmth is contagious and she is eager to educate and care for the patients in our dental family.
Prior to going to hygiene school, Sarah taught English in Korea for several years. She currently is a resident of Fairfax and enjoys spending time with family.
Genet is a valuable member of our clinical team. Genet has been a chairside assistant for over 10 years, bringing a wealth knowledge to our practice. She is compassionate and detail-oriented, always putting her patient’s needs first.
Genet enjoys working with patients of all ages. Her main focus in the office is educating her patients on their oral health. When Genet is not in the office, she is currently studying for her Board Exam, recently obtaining her Masters in Health Administration from Stratford University. She also enjoys working with the Culture Camp, an organization which helps fund the orphaned children of Ethiopia.
Tami has been apart of our team since the beginning of 2017. As part of our hygiene team, Tami’s goal is to bring health and beauty to every smile. Tami is detail – oriented and enjoys educating her patients with an indiviualized regimen. You can find Tami in our office every Tuesday.
When not in the office, Tami enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and planning her upcoming wedding.
Mavis is our office mascot and therapy dog in training. She is Dr. Tran’s maltipoo, happy to provide her therapeutic services to help ease our patients anxiety. Most of the day she spends either roaming our halls or napping in our patient’s lap. Please say HI to her at your next visit and offer he a belly rub.
